DCL101 - Color Outdoor Bullet Camera

We ordered this DCL 101 to replace one of our Bullet cameras. We were absolutely amazed when we saw how far superior this camera is over our original Bullet cameras. we will now be replacing our other ones with the DCL 101. It was also very easy to install. DSC was great to work with. They were very informed about their products & immediately knew what we needed, very courteous, & had our shipment to us in a couple of days. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We bought one of these to monitor a piece of industrial equipment in a 13x13 room. The machine sprays water, so we needed waterproof. This camera gives us a nice, clear picture of most of the machine. The only challenge we had was figuring out the orientation of the camera since we couldn't find an obvious mark, but this is only a setup thing. Overall, we have been very satisfied.

Originally order 3 of these. I mounted one in office, good for that application because it is a small area and serves it purpose well. I am returning two because I need a higher quality camera with better resolution for monitoring other areas. I guess I tried to cheap out but now I am ordering DRE540 at 3 times the cost of dcl101 but hopefully the clarity will be much improved.

nice camera for the money great picture, use it to keep on eye on my car after I got my stereo and tools got stolen, have to turn up the brightness on my computer a little at night to get it to see better. goes to black and white at night. using Asus video secuity (free at there web site) has RCA jacks with adapter included for BNC hook up. I have rca jacks on back of my Tv card for input. had it for a month now no problems camera seems to get a little warm to the touch. have it indoors in window I could not go with IR s window gets clair with Irs lighting up. probally go with a lower LUX camera just to see better at night with out playing with the contrast and brightness all the time. or put 1 outside with IRs. nice mounting bracket. fast delivery great service here would buy again here! four stars because night vision is limited.

I have used this camera for a few years now. The color is good. I have installed them in areas of bitter cold, almost in Northern Canada without a problem. Its a good camera for a great price!
