CCTV DVR System Success Stories! We hear about success stories from our customers all of the time. A success story to us is when a DVR system performs so well and reliably that heaven forbid you should ever have a problem, the video is easily accessible and crystal clear. Even better if it helps to capture a criminal. Here is an example of one of our more recent success stories. One of our distributors recently installed a DVR for a convenience store. He installed an eight camera DVR1501 Series digital video recorder with 120 frames per second (that's 15 fps per camera). He used a variety of cameras including mini color pinhole camera (clr-minipin) in the door frame, and color bullet cameras (CL101) inside. One night, three burglars attempted to rob the store. One of the perpetrators entered with a shotgun and held the clerk at gunpoint. He also beat the clerk with the gun stock as it clearly shows on the video. You'll also notice that one of the robbers kept the front door open to prevent the automatic lock feature of the alarm system from activating. The alarm system was triggered and the police came. Two of the assailants were captured at the scene, the third individual got away. The police reviewed the digital video of the incident. The images of the people involved were crystal clear. They said they had never seen better surveillance video, not even in banks. In fact the images were so clear that later when the third individual came back to the scene, the police recognized him and arrested him. Now that's a success story!
